Participants
Cael and Collin were along for the week. On the last day, I learned that Cael was a pole vaulter at Blue Mountain when Aaron was pole vaulting. The brothers were a comedy act all week.
Steve, Sharon, Sara, and Cam camped near me at Jim Deitrick. We discovered that Sara and Steve had been on the same GAP sojourn that I was on in 2013. Cam and I shared similar book interests.
Michael Kashlack had taken a class at the kayak school with me many years prior. It was fun to reconnect with him on the river and at camp.
Raven is attending school in California. She came home to spend the week on the river with her Grandfather Jim. Pretty cool.
Dev was pretty personable. We often exchange pleasantries.
Joe and Patty known as "The Pezely's" are long time returning sojourners. They are well known for their lengthy craft. Also quite fun to be around.
Joe was a character in his long sea kayak. I enjoyed his laid back approach to the sojourn.
I think this was Mary Beth's first sojourn, but she often attends the Wednesday night paddles. She fit right in with the crew.
Kris was a hoot all week. Always involved and having fun.
I am not sure what RJ's role is in the organization. He was along for a good portion of the week and really seemed to enjoy the river.
Karen was always smiling and I joy to be around. Her family was along on SUPs for one of the days.
I never caught their names, but this couple had a great week and she was pretty far along.
Hung out with these gentlemen on the river and at mealtime. They were fun and energetic.
Grand daughter joined grand mother for 2 days on the river.
